How LobbyDuo handles your photos, videos, account data and one-time credit purchases

Introduction

LobbyDuo turns two photos into a short AI-generated rap duo music video. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use LobbyDuo, why we collect it, and what happens to it afterwards.

Information We Collect

  • Account information. Your name and email address. If you sign up with an email and password we store a hashed password; if you sign up with Google we store the account identifier Google returns. To keep your account secure we also store session information.
  • The two photos you upload. These are used only to render the video you asked for. See How we handle your photos below.
  • Generation details. The template, orientation, duration, resolution tier, optional topic, the generated lyrics and song title, task identifiers and the status of the job. This is what makes the video appear in My videos and what lets us restore your credits if a render fails.
  • Payment information. Credit packs are sold through Stripe. We receive the payment status, the amount, the price identifier and a payment identifier so we can grant your credits. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage and device data. IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected in server logs and by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How We Handle Your Photos

We keep this deliberately simple:

  • Your photos are sent to our generation provider, kie.ai, which processes them to produce your video.
  • kie.ai deletes its copies within 24 hours.
  • LobbyDuo does not store your photos on its servers. They are held in memory only long enough to forward them to kie.ai, and they are never written to our database or our file storage.
  • Because we cannot verify ownership of an uploaded photo, you must have permission to use every photo you upload. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent, and never upload photos of minors.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create the video, lyrics and soundtrack you request.
  • To keep your credit balance correct and to restore credits when a generation definitively fails.
  • To show your video library and let you download or delete your videos.
  • To send transactional email (sign-in, receipts, account notices).
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud and keep the service available.
  • To answer support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or your generated videos to train our own models.

AI-Generated Content

Everything LobbyDuo produces is synthetic. The lyrics are written by a large language model, the soundtrack is generated by Suno, and the video is generated by ByteDance's Seedance model with an optional enhancement pass. Outputs are probabilistic: they can be unexpected, imperfect, or coincidentally similar to someone else's output, and lip sync or an exact likeness is never guaranteed. Treat every result as AI-generated content.

Cloud Storage and Deletion of Videos

Finished videos are stored in our object storage (Cloudflare R2) and are available in My videos. You can delete any video at any time from My videos or the result panel; deleting a video removes the stored file. You can also delete your whole account from the settings page.

Uploaded photos are never part of your library, for the reason described in How We Handle Your Photos.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to complete checkout. The details are in our Cookie Policy.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following processors to run LobbyDuo:

  • kie.ai — generation provider (photos, prompts, audio and video tasks).
  • Suno — music generation used for the rap soundtrack.
  • Stripe — payment processing for one-time credit packs.
  • Cloudflare R2 — storage of finished videos.
  • Vercel — application hosting and server logs.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.

Data Retention

Account and ledger records are kept for as long as your account exists, because they are the record of the credits you bought and spent. Videos stay in your library until you delete them or delete your account. Photos are not retained by us at all, and are removed by kie.ai within 24 hours.

Your Rights

You can access and update your account details, delete individual videos, and delete your account from the settings page. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your personal data, to correct it, or to ask us to restrict or erase it. Reach us through the contact page.

Children

LobbyDuo is not intended for children, and you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to buy credits or generate videos. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page.
